Chapter five has really guided me with the brainstorming part of my research proposal. Brainstorming and putting thoughts together is something that I majorly struggle with and have never been very good with. I had a general idea on doing something in the medical field but developing the actual question and shaping it to find research on was the hard part, I had no where to branch off to. Chapter 5 had reminded me that I am generating my ideas not surfing mindlessly. Once I was able to beat that part and really focus on ideas, I was able to create my research topic and really develop off of it afterwards. The method I went about was talking it through with people. I kept on going on and on in a circle but never truly focused an a particular point or question. By talking it through with others, I was really able to pinpoint my focus to one area. The area that I have chosen really speaks to me and feels like needs the most change in the world.
