When writing a research paper, finding the research can be challenging. I would always feel as if I was left short-handed and never really got a full grasp of my topic or felt as if I could never support my topic to the best of my ability. The McGraw-Hill Handbook has helped me with this section by introducing me to many different ways I can come across information and the best methods to discover this information. I never knew there was such a variety of sources available to pull information from nor did I know half of those resources counted towards legit information and proof for research papers. The sources that I have access to that I had never thought about using in the past are magazines, government documentations, almanacs, and abstracts. I also got a refresher from reading this chapter about how critical keyword searches are to really wing out the irrelevant resources and find the important ones much quicker. Also by doing this, the likelihood of stumbling across scholarly journals and articles increases.
