Chapter Nine discussed the importance of revising and remixing drafts. Although it is the most dreadful and tedious part of writing, it is the most essential part. By revising an essay, many mistakes and errors are eliminated. The best way in my opinion is to grab a friend and have them read over it. Usually a fresh, new pair of eyes will catch more and doesn't skip through parts. The other method that I think is super effective when revising, is reading the paper aloud as it will catch phrases and sentences that don't actually sound right and usually just skimmed over when reading over in silently. It forces the paper to contain a form of pattern or rhythm without being too repetitive. I personally hate revision because I just want to be done with the paper but it truly is the final polish up of a paper. All writers do it too.
